When driving,
keep windows up and doors locked.

Vary your times
and routes to school or work (be unpredictable).

If you go out,
avoid wearing expensive jewelry and carrying or displaying large amounts
of money.

If you are going
to crowded areas, it’s best to travel with at least another person.
-
Practice good
situational awareness.

Maintain a low
profile and avoid drawing attention to yourself.
-
Ensure that your
colleagues or family members are aware of your daily plans and are
able to reach you.
