Captain Jim Grady, a U.S. military doctor, prescribes medicine
for a young patient with the assistance of Filipino soldiers
serving as interpreters. Approximately 1,100 local residents
received medical and dental services during the joint AFP-U.S. Medical
Civic Action Program (MEDCAP) held on October 2 in Barira, Maguindanao.
The MEDCAP is part of Project Bayanihan, which enables Filipino
and American soldiers to work together to improve the well being
of Philippine communities. |
