EDUCATIONAL, MEDICAL SUPPLIES FOR SULU

The Philippine Air Force and Army , along with a host of contributors that includes the non-governmental organization Knights bridge International, Brother’s Brother, the Rotary Club of Makati, the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.S. military, turned over to Sulu officials on November 7 more than six tons of educational books and medical supplies for local schools and medical facilities. The donation, according to Col. Jim Linder (above), Commander of Joint Special Operations Task Force - Philippines, is the second of its kind provided by the joint group to help further education for thousands of children and teenagers and provide nec essary medical supplies and equipment to care centers in the area.
