US Drug Enforcement Administration meets Mayor Duterte |
| |
Tim Teal, head of the US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in
the Philippines, visited Davao City, and met with Mayor Duterte and
PDEA Regional Director Wilkins Villanueva. He joined the Mayor and
Director Villanueva during a visit to recently raided Shabu labs.
They subsequently discussed US training assistance for anti-narcotics
operations including upcoming training courses to be held in Davao.
DEA regularly extends technical help to the Philippine Drug Enforcement
Agency, including the Davao lab investigation. |

Philippines. Scenario planning workshops will be conducted by Verite
in Davao with local government officials and labor leaders on December
13 and 14. |
